PORT ANGELES -- Two accounting employees and three plant operations employees received honors at Olympic Medical Center’s board of commissioners meeting on September 7. Chief Executive Officer Eric Lewis presented awards to Teresa Hoover, accounting assistant; Lauren McElwain, financial analyst; Andrea MacFeat, administrative assistant, plant operations; Jason Francis, supervisor, plant operations; and Rob Gale, construction carpenter.
"Each of these employees not only excel at their work, they enthusiastically take on additional projects and challenges,” said Darryl Wolfe, chief financial officer.
Hoover has supurb organizational skills and attention to detail. She also takes on new tasks without hesitation, according to Wolfe.
McElwain, who has worked at Olympic Medical Center for less than two years, has exceeded expectations in her role and has acquired new tasks that require much more responsibility and independent thinking.
MacFeat, Gale and Francis have meticulously tracked the large medical office building construction project in addition to daily maintenance requirements and construction improvements for the Port Angeles and Sequim campuses.
