PORT ANGELES – Olympic Medical Center CEO Eric Lewis
recognized Darryl Wolfe, director of administration and interim chief financial
officer, with the organization’s Leadership Award in for April at the
hospital’s monthly department management meeting.
Wolfe has been with Olympic Medical for nearly 10 years, and
has been in the position of director of administration for just over a year.
"Darryl has done tremendously well in his role of director of administration,
but he has taken on additional duties and responsibilities in the past year
that are outside of that role including significant work on the PA Medical
Office Building construction project,” says Lewis.
Wolfe has been managing plant operations and hospital
construction projects since the search began for a new Plant Operations Manager
last fall, and has been interim Chief Financial Officer since the retirement of
Julie Rukstad in March.
"He has effectively been working three jobs with dedication,
success and an incredible sense of humor,” says Lewis.
Supervisors, managers and directors are eligible for Olympic
Medical Center’s Leadership Award, and the award is given at the medical
center’s department management meeting that occurs monthly.
