The Director of the Quality Management Program serves as the quality management representative as needed, and champion of OMC’s Quality Management System (QMS), and is responsible for ensuring that the requirements of the QMS are implemented and maintained. This position provides leadership and direction to Quality Support Services, and facilitates performance improvement in Olympic Medical Center’s quality, patient safety and satisfaction initiatives, and best practice development. The Quality Management Program director facilitates OMC-wide hospital accreditation and CMS regulatory agency survey readiness efforts, and coordinates gathering reliable data in support of ongoing performance improvement efforts as required by OMC and all regulatory and compliance agencies. 



·        Bachelor’s degree required

·        BSN preferred

·        Related experience in healthcare or business management field is acceptable



·        5 years’ experience in healthcare and project management required; clinical experience preferred

·        3 years’ experience with medical center accreditation and CMS surveys required

·        Experience in team facilitation, change management, and public speaking required

·        Experience in coordination and evaluation of performance improvement (PI) activities, data collection, analysis, and basic statistics  

·        Experience with PI methodology

·        Experience with DNV accreditation and ISO 9001 requirements preferred; progressive expertise with these programs and accreditation elements is expected and supported

·        Experience in healthcare management preferred

·        Experience with patient safety programs preferred



        Current Washington state RN license if degree is BSN.
